Anne Bogart is one of the Artistic Directors of SITI Company, NYC, which she co-founded in 1992. Her work focuses on two techniques, Viewpoints and Suzuki. She’s the author of three books of essays. She’s been awarded three honorary doctorate degrees as well as a Guggenheim Fellowship and a USA Fellowship. She’s also received two Obie Awards, The Doris Duke Performing Artist Award, The Association for Theater in Higher Education Career Achievement Award and several other honors. She’s taught extensively and is head of the Direction Concentration at Columbia University School of the Arts.
